Alumni, friends of bethel invited to new volunteer opportunity
Alumni and friends of Bethel now have a new opportunity to contribute volunteer time and energy to improving the campus for both students and visitors.
Dalene White, spouse of President Perry D. White and Bethel’s chief volunteer, has organized a Volunteer Service Corps, “open to anyone interested in volunteering on campus in a variety of ways,” she said.
A Bethel alumnus first came up with the idea of organizing volunteers who would work at “enhancing the beauty of the campus.”
Dalene White and the volunteers already spruced up parts of Haury Hall and, more recently, began helping maintenance clear the old Science Hall so it can be transformed into a new Academic Center.
