KCAC Player of the Week awards for all sports are voted on by the member institutions’ SIDs.

Bethel College’s streak of national tournament qualifications in forensics remains alive and well, with students advancing for the 40th straight year.

That covers the entire history of the American Forensic Association National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET). Bethel is one of only six colleges or universities in the nation to have that distinction.

The Threshers have now qualified four students in nine events, including a freshman in her first-ever semester of collegiate competition – and have done it in the first five weeks of forensics competition.

North American Mennonites gathered in Clinton, Oklahoma, Oct. 8 to thank Lawrence ’61 and Betty ’57 Hart for their service to the Mennonite church. The program was planned by Native Mennonite Ministries, Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Central Committee.
